Hello!
I just cleaned the jets for the first time on my buddy 150, and I have a question about one of the gas lines, or what I assumed was a gas line. On the very bottom of the carb, there is a small black hose with some sort of spring/metal thing on it. The other end of the hose isn't connected to anything.
Is this correct? I just assumed I needed to hook it up to something but I'm almost certain it's supposed to attached to the bottom of the carb, and the other end just dangles. I'd guess the line is 6-10 inches long.
TIA!

yeah, i think that's just an overflow drain or something.

I think that's where your pony tail connects so you and the scoot can become one.LPcreation wrote:On the very bottom of the carb, there is a small black hose with some sort of spring/metal thing on it. The other end of the hose isn't connected to anything.

I'm missing a ponytail so I connected it somewhere else.Mousenut wrote:I think that's where your pony tail connects so you and the scoot can become one.LPcreation wrote:On the very bottom of the carb, there is a small black hose with some sort of spring/metal thing on it.
