Buddy 150 perfomance upgrade

Has anyone here purchased the performance upgrade kit (Super Trans Kit) If so did it make a difference? is it worth it??

It does yes. The torq conversion is a single acceleration curve rather than the dogleg acceleration. Also the clutch bell is definitely a big upgrade with better impact on the shoes. With the transmission upgrade like that, you may have to go up a gram on your rollers/sliders. The top end will not change much though maybe 1mph, just overall better grab and accel.

If you want to spend less, the Dr. Pulley Performance Package 2 is a popular upgrade. But it doesn't come with a new clutch.

K1 beat me to it. Definitely check out the options at Buggy Parts NW.

I had the Level 2 Performance Kit installed for roughly 15,000 miles and was very pleased. For my riding needs I did not have it set up to increase top end, rather to maintain speed going up hills better (12g sliders, 1500 spring). That said I could still go over 70 indicated, with the right conditions bury the speedo, and hold 60 going up most LA area hills.
