I just bought a brand new Buddy 50 on Saturday (my first scooter). I noticed clear fluid coming from line running up to the front brake lever. It's appears to be coming right from the connector there.
There's also clear fluid coming out from under where the handlebar assembly meets the body (where there's a slight gap there). I'm assuming that it's running down the line from the lever, and just dripping, but I don't know - it could be a second leak.
Unfortunately, the dealer is closed on Monday, so I won't be able to take it in until tomorrow. Is there anything I can check myself? Is this common?
New Buddy 50 brake leak.

Yeah, I can see that, and it looks like it's about MIN level.
I actually took the top plastic part off to try to pinpoint exactly where it's coming from. I couldn't tell.
It seems safe to drive for now (the brakes aren't spongy or anything), until I can get it in. The annoying thing is it flows out along the throttle cable, and then the wind makes it spray all one my leg while I'm riding.

me too . . .
although this thread is a year old - I just got my buddy 50 about a month ago and noticed the same thing. The dealer said he would have to order a new part and just keep an eye on it until the part came in. I am wondering if this is an ongoing problem with these? Anyone else have this problem??

Not an ongoing problem. It may be a that it wasn't filled or connected correctly when there scooter was prepped by the dealer.Piano tuner buddy wrote:although this thread is a year old - I just got my buddy 50 about a month ago and noticed the same thing. Definitely keep any brake fluid away from plastic parts!
