Well, I have been wanting to tackle this for some time.
With a few days to gather parts and some scooter down time I managed to make it work. I posted up yesterday for some help on wiring, and thankfully got a wire diagram, which helped me source down the wires I needed to find.
These four LED's are wired into the rear brake light.
I will try to take some photos of the light at night. I did check them out in my garage last night and they are super visible and really make the back of the BLUR stand out and are really bright.

Today, I will put driving/fog lights on the front of the forks.

Much depends on how old the LED bulb is. The older ones using older technology did not put out as much light as the newer units do.
Also what setting, because led red light there are some LED arrays that run in the thousands of dollars that are intended to replace flourecent lighting in some industrial applications fully with less physical footprint dimensions.
The LED luminarie I have in green led lighting front of me as I write this rated 1 Watt dissipation, 19 milliAmperes at 120 volts and is equivalent in light output to a 40 Watt incandescent lightlbulb. 19 milliAmperes is less than one fifth of an Ampere. In other words, I can leave this one light one for 1000 hours blue led strip and only draw one killowatt hour total energy.
