Am I doing it wrong? I think I've put almost $8 in :(

Well, I guess it's about right. $4 a gallon, I've done close to 150 miles. Tank is almost full right now.

Lol tell me about it. I still haven't planned out a "safe" route to work so for now I'm still driving, and that's about 24 miles round trip. Then I get home, have something to eat, and hop on Stella til it gets dark! Been putting like 30 miles a day on her just riding around aimlessly and making up fake errands I need. She had 25 miles last Wednesday, now she's got 230! So I'm about on par with you at 200 a week.

yeah i didn't ride much this last week and my commute is local, anyway. but sure i figure i get around 65-70 miles a gallon on my Agility. give or take. i would have to measure it more scientifically to know exactly

but i do ride hard and WOT a lot of the time. so, burning that fuel is a good thing :)

Nowhere near that, but I once spent more than $10 on scooterfuel in a single day. This was in 2009 when gas prices were in a (relative) slump. I had to fill up four times, because I started the day with a nearly-empty tank, and rode over 200 miles (at 30-40mph) before sunset.

I've had mine for just under two months, it is my main form a transport, I have 1800 miles on it as of today, I fill the tank every two days. I spent under $50 for commuting all of last month and will come in under that for this month! I love it!

Almost the same experience here. My buddy is my commute which is approx 70 miles a day. Trouble is about 30-40 miles of that are on an open stretch of route 1 which allows me to go WOT. I watch that needle drop down :)

I spend $2.50 a day on fuel and i get approx 80mpg according to my Gas App. Whilst im filling up more than i hoped i would, $40-$50 a month is still far cheaper than the $300 for the commuter rail.
