Buddy 170i Seat Unlock!!!!
I have to use 2 hands every time to unlock and pop the seat up. Most of the time I have to work it for a few seconds for turn the key a time or three or four before it unlocks.
Is what I'm experiencing normal for these scooters? I realize that the locking and seat is pretty cheap but heck, it shouldn't be this much of a hassle.

Yup, it should just pop up when you turn the key. It's an easy fix. Either have your dealer do it under warranty, or follow this article to do it yourself.
