SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!
Okay so here is my issue, My 06 Buddy 125 has a little, (maybe not so little) problem when i put the key in and turn it to the on posistion NOTHING HAPPENS. normally the gas needle moves up, the horn would honk, and the turn signals would work but nothing my first thought was the battery is older (2007) maybe relapce that, I put the battery in and still NOTHING I have to kick start the scooter everytime I ride it and I am getting annoyed, Oh yeah when I am riding the scooter and trun on the signals I get a buzzing noise and the signals stay on solid any ideas would be great I am at a loss.

Yeah, sounds like main fuse. It's in an in-line fuse holder close to the battery. I'm not sure of the amperage, but once you find out, keep a couple spares in the pet carrier.
You would think something named "main fuse" would kill everything, like the electrical side of the engine, when it's blown. My old Honda would occasionally blow its main fuse, and the bike was a paperweight.
But no. On the Budd, it only kills the accessories. The engine can be kickstarted (and headlights will work) just fine.

Feel da rhythm! Feel da rhyme! Get on up! It's Buddy Time!

Somebody will have to refresh my memory, but I think the main fuse is a 15 Amp. The page below shows where to access it. The fuse rating is stamped into the body of fuse itself so you'll know what size it is when you pull it to test it.

This is correct,. I think the 1 Amp is the one in the legshield for the 12V outlet.jrsjr wrote:Somebody will have to refresh my memory, but I think the main fuse is a 15 Amp. Here comes the stupid question ( I tend to take is every thing as is without filling in the blanks) You mention turning the the key but not holding down the left break lever and pressing the yellow starter button. You are doing that, and just skipped it in your post?
