Fender Eliminator Kit

Post by Grant H »

The worst thing aesthetic wise on my Buddy 170i is the rear fender. Having a crotch rocket also, one of the first things I did to that was to install a fender eliminator kit. There were plenty models and companies to choose from.

When I was buying my Buddy I said to myself, some one has got to be making a really nice eliminator kit for these scooters. So far I have not found one and am wondring why someone doesnt make one.

Many of us have "bobbed" our rear fenders for the same reason and just leaving the rear tire hugger in place. It looks pretty good.

I actually ended-up putting something back on to block the crap from getting thrown on my back when I ride in the rain or just end up going through water from sprinkler run-off. Without the fender, there's just not enough material to block the splatter.

Here's a bunch of threads:

Thanks for the reply. Based on one of your thread links I found

http://www.scooterloungeonline.com/

Which has replacement tail fenders for only $20. So, a bobbing away I go and if I dont like it, then I'll just put the already ordered fender back on.

Thanks!
