So, I bought some tires from JustScooterTires.com on August 1st. They accepted payment, but that was all I'd heard from them. Yesterday I sent an email asking for an order status and tracking number.
I didn't get a direct response, but fedex sent me a tracking update. The package was shipped today. I have no idea why it took six days to ship my order, but I'm annoyed because it seems I won't be doing work on the scoot this weekend like I'd planned.
I understand some places can't turn orders around the next day, but six days—that's a bit long. Worst still, because I still haven't heard from them it feels like they might not have even shipped it today if I hadn't asked about my order.
Scooterwest on the other hand called me in less than 24 hours to work out the best way to ship my order. They seem pretty great.

I just ordered a new belt and rollers from buggypartsnw last night (Monday). There's a place to put in a note with your order and I simply wrote: "Hope you can get these shipped soon. I'm a little nervous about my belt condition!"
I placed my order and right away got an email from them: "Will ship Tuesday afternoon. Thank you for your business."
Now that's service!
I also posted a question to them through their website (again, in the evening) prior to placing my order and heard back right away.
I've bought from them before and will do so in the future. They are awesome and their site has some nice tutorials, too.
.::I know the voices in my head aren't real, but man do they come up with some great ideas::.

I love these guys. I spread my parts money pretty evenly: Buy what's unhand from my dealer, get some from Scooterworks, get some from Scooterwest. A lot of the big stuff (cylinder kits) has come from Scooterwest. Very friendly, knowledgable, good service. Can't ask for much more.

To date I've ordered from:
Scooterwest (recommended!)
Scooterworks (recommended!)
Motorcycle Superstore (recommended)
My Local Dealer (mostly recommended)
Just Scooter Tires (not recommended)
Both Scooterworks and Scooterwest were fantastic. Sadly, I don't feel like my dealer is great in the service department. They are nice and they seem like they know what they are doing, but they are a bit expensive and don't seem to care enough (my first service was just an oil change, for example).
In recently ordered from a site that plainly stated "We only ship on Mondays", and I can deal with that. JustScooterTires doesn't even seem to have a policy/about page so you can check if they have a practice like this.
Seems you have received a bad dose of customer service (or lack of) .

I just tried their website, and the only shipping options they offer are UPS Ground and UPS 3 day, so I wonder why you're getting a tracking number from Fedex.
Just an idea, but a lot of sellers use Fedex Smartpost. It's a system whereby Fedex delivers from the seller all the way to your nearest major P.O. and then they do the last leg. It's supposedly an extremely low-cost method for the shipper, but as slow as molasses since both Fedex and the P.O. tend to wait until they have accumulated enough deliveries before actually moving the items out.
I hope that they're not charging you the UPS rate and then shipping via the cheaper (to them), slower method.
I guess this is sort of a moot post now. Still I hope I'm not getting screwed here. I just looked it up and I definitely paid for UPS shipping. The Fedex tracking number says I'll have the tires on the 14th We'll see.
It sucks that I just got the last of what I need (minus the tires) to do all the work this weekend. It isn't the end of the world, but it is annoying.
Wow. They couldn't even get the shipping company you paid for correct? If they weren't out of business I would almost demand my money back (Then again, I have a strong dislike for FedEx and their idiocy. They just left my $500 cellphone on the FRONT STEP because I wasn't home to sign for it!)
Let's just hope you don't get a box of rubber ducks instead of tires. Sounds like that would be par for your luck with these guys.
