Club Organization question

Post by Howardr »

Good Modern Buddy people,

Does anyone know of a club that is organized as an LLC? I have a few questions about it and I'm wondering if anyone has actually done it.

thanks,

scootnashville.com is somewhere in the process... not sure where, which is pretty bad, since I'm a board member. :)

I avoid the necessity of forming a LLC by avoiding the liability issue entirely. All members are required to sign a very buttoned down liability release.

liability?

The only time we sign waivers is if we participate in 'dangerous' events hosted by a business.

but, then again, nothing serious has ever happened (thankfully) that would move anyone to do so. I find it miraculous given how much some people drink and drive.
