Tack on another $400. Picked up this '03 Zuma today. Long time coming, but I figure I did okay on the deal. Needs a few cosmetic items, a battery and a replacement speedometer cable.

Gonna hold on ordering parts until after the holidays. As much as I want to have it all sorted by next weekend, I have a few engines that I should finish up before I mess with another one.

Too quiet in this thread, so:
$22.18 for a UNI red air filter for the Zuma
$59.95 for a gel cell battery for the Zuma
$100 for a modified main gear assembly for my Pinto's E50
$50 for a Treatland gift certificate for a friend to get stuff for his Puch
I think I'll be ordering the Zuma parts this year, too. Wanna get it on the road!
EDIT: Bought a filter, not a puller. Won't need the puller yet (I hope...).

New scooter
New scooter is 2009 Blackjack listed on my profile as I was negotiating purchase when I joined MB. Mint condition, 18 months old with 3500 miles.
Sold Sportster Custom 1200 last year and unsuccessfully going through withdrawal! Love the scooter. I really appreciate the MB forums.

Tack on $9k from me.

Got it on the way through a town 120 miles away on my way to visit family for delayed holiday gathering. I pick it up next weekend.
All others bikes to be sold in Spring and next scooter will be a 4T Stella.
70mpg@700ccs (well, 670 but they all round up)!
edit: I was being overly generous on the displacement by about 10ccs

Just dropped $100 for a gently used Dell'Orto PHBG 21mm carburetor for a project.
Dropping another $100 to pay my part of the scooter club garage rent too. Paid it last month before Thanksgiving, bummer.
EDIT: Almost forgot...December 27th, I dropped $104.90 on a new regulator/rectifier for the P, a Buzzetti ignition micrometer and a few headset screws/washers for Howardr's Stella.

New Battery for my motorcycle (that's been severely neglected because of scooters) so it'll sell easier in the Spring:

As for the gasket sets, I hope you get the OE Piaggio sets. Seals well and keeps the cases cleaner.

Some are shop "stock" parts to have on hand.
Soon I will be able to get back to my 64 GL build with HRS P200 motor and full hydraulic disc. I started this as a CBR bike with a year for the build but didn't count on being in Palestine for a year! The fork has been done (SIP PK with RS 24 front shock) and brake kit mounted. My headset has been at the welder's for a year to mount the master cylinder.
Al has done his bit to the motor (pinasco 215, worb 5 stroker modified by Al, vortex etc etc.
The bike is fully apart and almost ready for paint. Gonna get the motor together and put it in my GT rat for break in while I finish the GL body work.
The GT is all set up with EGT, CHT and tach to dial the motor in.
Yeah....it's time to have some fun!

Sounds pretty high falutin'! Add the 12" Vespa wheel conversion and it'd sound a bit like SIP's custom racer.BuddyRaton wrote: Some are shop "stock" parts to have on hand.

OK, I'll bite...what does All do that makes a Worb5 crank better ? Yamaha rod? I figured that a gas flowed and laser welder crank was pretty darn good as-is! I've been considering one of their 60mm strokers, a Grand Sport piston and a MMW head for the P when the engine finally wears out enough to merit significant refurbishment (could be a while for a stocker...)

All I seem to "stock" these days are parts for Piaggio and Puch mopeds, and Stellas (not mine). Got a good stash going for my CH80 rebuilds, but those parts already have a purpose.
Was late buying a Corazzo jacket, foo. JHScoot pointed out a good deal and I think there were several buyers today. We missed the Spend-A-Thon cutoff!
