Hi guys,
I've searched all over and can't seem to find any information about this. Found some info for motorcycles but it's not completely the same.
My rear brake light switch works intermittently. I thought it was fixed before but the problem has returned so I think I am just going to replace the thing because I'm getting tired of dealing with it.
Does anyone have access to a schematic or something that says how to access it? How do I remove the dash and get inside the handlebars?
Something tells me this is simple. I just don't know how to get the top off.
Thanks.

I have the service manual. I just thought there might be some better information out there.
What I have found is that the service manual is poorly written. It is meant for mechanics and dealers, not owners. All the pictures are usually to closeup to tell what is going on and they don't demonstrate how someone got from point A to point B.
I tried using the service manual to change the spark plug but all the spark plug photos were zoomed in so close, I had no idea what part of the bike they were taking a picture of. In the end, I had to figure it out myself.
