ID these buddy parts

Post by dalvarado »

Hey Kids,

I was wondering if anyone could ID these parts shown in my Stebel install post in the Tech Library forum:

* The black box labeled "TAIGENE"
* The aluminum looking guy labeled "C1"

I'm assuming that "C1" indicates a capacitor, but I don't know for what purpose, specifically.

Thanks!

Have you scoped out the Buddy Service Manual?

The black box is your CDI, and the (finned?) aluminum piece is your voltage regulator, just in case you couldn't 'translate' the manual.

Thanks, Seth! The manual isn't really clear on these and the electrical diagram is somewhat unreadable. I'll update my article. Peace.
