did you do wire it? I was wondering what most folks have done to upgrade their Stella horn? The stock horn is just bad bad bad and here in Atlanta GA you need to make sure folks hear you loud and clear.

Thanks Lokky, that would be great. I've thought about mounting the horn under the front rack if it's too large to fit in the current horn location. I was thinking that if it's chrome it would blend in with the rack and the wires could go right through the current horn grill, but I'm not sure if the process is as easy as I'm thinking.Lokky wrote:I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to wire the steel nautilus I just ordered. Once I've got it figured out I plan to post a guide with pictures.
Looking forward to your update. thanks

Mine is bright red and I do not use a front rack so it's gonna go right under the left cowl where the spare usually sits. I have a rear rack with a spare carrier for that
Putting it there means I can wire it straight to the battery, I just gotta figure out whether I wanna keep the current horn button or install a foot horn button under the glovebox.

I bought a Nautilus but I might just end up putting the much easier to install Magnum from my Vespa into the Stella then popping the Nautilus in the Vespa.
The Magnum isn't quite as loud but much louder than stock.

Eric, will the Magnum fit easily into the existing space where the stock horn is in the Stella? Also which Magnum horn is in the Vespa?ericalm wrote:I bought a Nautilus but I might just end up putting the much easier to install Magnum from my Vespa into the Stella then popping the Nautilus in the Vespa.

Does anyone know if the wiring for something like this would be pretty straight forward, can I just remove the wires from the existing horn and put it on this horn? I realize this won't fit under the casing but I may have to mount it someplace else; I just don't want to get into very involved wiring.
