The Stella is beautiful, so of course I want to make sure there is a well-attired man sitting atop it. Seems like a waste to do otherwise

I never informed Amazon I liked pink. Yet predictably when I typed into search engine " motorcycle gloves for women " first thing that popped up? Pink leathers.... Bad enough I am stuck with pink helmet, but That is the only color I could get from my brand that actually fits.....Is this a hint by Amazon that I should get gloves to match? I can just see the assembly: pink gloves, pink helmet, Camo jacket and pants complete with my Anushka purse sitting in the back.... I'll get excommunicated by my fellow riders....

different kinds of skinheads the world 'round, too. i don't think all are nazi or racist or w/e. look at these scooter skins. they look pretty normal. they like England and soccer, i suppose. they have a bit of style

EDIT: ok they have no style and those jeans are awful. but hey, they're skinheads! says so right there on the t-shirt

I wish there was a like button on this forum. Your post cracked me up.
There is a skinhead scene in So Cal, but I don't see them much at scooter rides or around town. Then again, I'm old and don't get out much anymore. http://www.laweekly.com/2012-06-07/musi ... ul-latino/

I went clothes shopping today... I was reminded if this thread when I looked in the dressing room mirror and thought to myself: "I will look great on the Stella wearing this!"

I found something that belongs in this thread....I've been wearing fake plug earrings when I scoot, because they screw on (so I can take my helmet on/off without worrying about them being pulled out). But I don't necessarily always want to wear fake plugs - usually I just want to wear regular earrings! Today it occurred to me to see if I could find any regular earrings with screw-on backs, and as it turns out this is a relatively common thing!

Image

Amazon has 194 pages of them:

I tend to go for bigger studs and was a bit disappointed to see that most are on the small size (I think a lot of them were designed with babies in mind) but still, I'm happy to have the option!

Oh and by the way, here's a pic of my the boots I wear for scootering. They more than cover my ankles and have good traction. I get compliments every single time I wear them:

I found out they're discontinued, so I bought another pair for when my current ones bite the dust. There's still some available on Amazon if anyone is interested:

Thanks for sharing, I had no idea these existed! I'm going to have to order some. I have lost way too many earrings yanking off my helmet.

Umm I'm possibly setting trends with my mismatched boots, At least that's what I tell myself.

See I ruined two pairs of boots; One black, One Tan.

Out of each pair I had one good boot left and they happened to form a set...

I now have a replacement set of boots but I didn't check how thick they were when I bought them and I can't toe shift with them so I wear them mainly on days when I'm using the car as even on the Stella and Big Ruckus they don't fit as well as my mismatched pair.

Defiantly a trend setter! Like wearing your clothes backwards or some such thing. R

excellent, fashionista type gear selection, KeLynn :D :P 8)

here is my latest purchase. guess its gear as i got it for riding but also to look good. boots can be so black and plain and meh, when a rider hops off the scoot / bike the bike follows where you might not want it to

these boots take care of that, a little. actually look better "in person" and with a pant leg over looks like a rugged oxford of sorts. note the contrast stitching and laces and dark gray outsole =]

practical and stylish, perhaps? meh i'm a work in progress

I don't care what I look like as long as I'm seen. I'll never be a mod because I wore my last tie until I got layed off 11 years ago.

My foot is in an odd position. Too big (13) for the discount stores. Too small for Big 'n Tall shops. But I finally found a pair of comfortable work boots from Georgia Boots. Not much ankle padding other than one layer of leather, but I've had similar boots before and these will last.

Those boots look absolutely fantastic, I need to own at least two pairs as summer boots! I really hope they have a model that fits flatfeet with wide plantars. My TCX boots are comfortable as shit but they are a goretex winter boot, they are way too hot to wear comfortably in the summer.

by the way is the shiny leather hard to mantain looking good? I am happy to take care of them with leather cleaner but not if they are doomed to become smudged and cracked forever.
