I have owned several scooters over the years Px's, Stella 2Ts, etc. I currently ride a Stella 4 T. It is one of the first 4 Ts sold in the US.. So this will be my third summer with it.
The suspension seems to be firmer than any other scoot I have ever owned. Does anybody know of a more forgiving set up. This thing is like riding a brick.
BTW switched to Conti's a while back and better on all counts, ride, response, traction etc.. But the suspension thing is way to stiff.
So.. Trying to figure out which shock has the ability to dial in the most comfortable setting. Comfort to me = think caddy.. So Bitubu ? Fournales ?
Would love to hear from anyone about specific set ups.
I am riding a Fireball with a bitubo front. Not sure what's on the back but it's an adjustable shock that came with the fireball. Much comfier ride than my 09 with stock shocks.
They are fun economical transport. So in that respect I can see why they are sold the way they are. As soon as you start putting the best parts on, the costs go up. Ever wonder why is a Stella $4000. and a Vespa is twice as much? That's why! Personally I think Genuine and LML got it right as these aren't luxury machines and sadly that is the way Vespa is going now days Imo....
V35b, I just ordered a Bitubo for my front suspension (Stella 4T) but the store couldn't find any brand of rear shock. Did you find anything for the rear?
