Windshield choice Buddy 125
I'm looking for anyone that has used these 2 windshields, and or anyone that has tired both...
The Cuppini short, and the Prima Medium.... I have an 06 125 and am looking at both of these.. Not so much for wind or element protection, but more for mileage and top speed... To me, of course the Cuppini looks a lot better, but is also about 30 dollars more expensive... Anyone with opinions about how either would compare for my "objective".... You guys ever compared mileage and speed with and without either?? Thanks all.....

i'd like to piggyback onto this thread as my question is also windshield related. i have an 09 buddy 125, i'm 5'2" and i live in an often windy buffalo, ny.
would like to know if the cuppini short would be the best option for me. i'm not too concerned about getting extra mpg's, more just keeping the wind off me.
thoughts? thanks.

I would say a medium is your best bet if you want to get the wind off of you and direct it higher. My wife has the prima medium windshield and its much nicer to have that extra protection from wind/rain and the ride becomes alot quieter. I have test driven a scooter with a short and it really didn't make much difference to me at all.scullyfu wrote:i'd like to piggyback onto this thread as my question is also windshield related. i have an 09 buddy 125, i'm 5'2" and i live in an often windy buffalo, ny.

Thanks everyone, that is exactly what I was looking for. I'm on the short side, about 5'7" I really don't want to take all the wind off of me. I have a big fairing on my motorcycle and I have a 6" shield on it, I just look over the top of it a bit...I definitely don't like looking through windshields, especially after they start getting a few scratches and scuffs, that's a killer at nigh with headlights coming at you....I think I'm going to have to try and sit on a few and see how they fit me. I hate to buy one, and then regret it, and have to take a loss trying to sell it... I think the Prima is about 75 and the Cuppini is a little over 100.... don't want to make a mistake.....

I have the medium.
What I like about it is I can sit up and have all the wind I want in my face, or lean forward and have it all directed over my body.
It isn't ridiculous looking like the large windshield.
To me it feels more stable at higher speeds,
but I got the windshield so early that I cannot speak to stability or mpg.
