I sometimes pop over to the Aprilia forum since I have a Scarabeo 500, and a guy on there Plasti-dipped his blue Scarabeo.
Personally, I really like the blue (that's the color I have), but I have to say he did a really nice job.
I copied a couple of his pictures and have them below. He Plasti-dipped the back of the windshield as well....looks pretty cool!

That is flipping amazing.
I guess the possibilities are endless when you use a little creativity.

Very nice, Easy.
I forgot they have more than one color of Plasti-dip.

My friend is dipping his car the Gunmetal color in a few weeks. We're using him as our test dummy before we apply it to our stuff. I really want to black out the chrome on the Buddy the way easy did.

I dipped my Zuma 125 about 1,000 miles ago. Still looks like it did the day I did it. There are a couple photos of my scoot near the bottom of the first page on this thread

I think I am going to do my wife's Buddy 50 in Blaze Purple with a pearlized top coat once the humidity levels drop in a month or so.

I saw it too and thought:
"I really would like to do that to my Scarabeo". Silver just isn't my thing.
I'd consider doing it to my buddy one day too

Dip your car . Com is the website that I got the dip from. It sprays on just like spray paint just a little thicker. The nice thing is you peel it off instead of striping it with chemicals when it's time to change colors again
