(You are welcome!) I gave 7 years in the Coast Guard. But so many gave so much more, or everything they had. I love our troops, regardless of what service they're in and where they are.

Sure, acknowledge and thank veterans for their service. They deserve it and it is the right thing to do. But there are many veterans out there that are struggling and truly need help. I urge others to get involved in any way you can. This would be an excellent day to make the committment to going an extra mile in volunteering, donating, activism for veterans programs, whatever you see as a need you can help meet.
