Liquid cooling works its way down toward the bottom end of the line. The trend was probably inevitable. (So now will Kymco - famous for strange names for many of its models - come out with a competitor called the Dork?)
Interesting they went with a 'naked' look for the handlebars. Don't usually see them exposed like that on a scooter. I think the Mojito pulls it off better.

If I'm not mistaken the Mojito is a near copy of the Honda Joker.
I would guess not. The styling of the Metro is a big part of its appeal to people who want something that looks like a traditional scooter (but don't care if it operates like one).

Having 3 50cc scooters in an already short scooter line-up seems impractical. I doubt its going to unseat the Ruckus....
Run it on alcohol, get a, well you can figure that out.
Actually very clean modern styling. Will appeal to a wide range of buyers. Nice job Honda!
Oh, can we have special artsy paint jobs? Call it the Funk. Okay, I'm done now.
1971 Hodaka Ace 100
1977 Suzuki GT250 is now sold... Good bike!
1980 Yamaha IT125
Honda: '66 CT90 KO; '83 CT110; '92 CT70; 2001 XR250
and 1 or 2 others... I need to sell some bikes!
It looks like a re-vamped Spree. At least the back of it kinda does. I don't think it looks bad but a little underpowerd perhaps... Maybe they ran out of ideas in the name department....
Nope...i think the old shadow 90 (aka "joker") did the handle bar better and over all looks better...NOT the chinese knock offs, but the original joker.
Too boxy looking, and the seat doesn't look comfortable at all. Did like the cut-away of the engine internals, don't get to see them in pristine condition like that very often.
"When your mouth is yapping your arms stop flapping, get to work" - a quote from my father R.I.P..
always start with the simple, it may end up costing you little to nothing
Interesting they mention that liquid cooling is a new thing for scooters this small. The Met and the Ruckus have always been liquid cooled, iirc. The last air-cooled 50cc scoot Honda would have sold in the US was the Elite, back in 2001.

Actually the current Honda Metropolitan is air-cooled. Honda made that switch a year or two ago when they dropped the Met's price and moved production to Shanghai.

I was thinking the same thing. Somebody once pointed out to me the tiny little radiator on the Ruckus.
Kinda surprised at the negative comments about the style. I thought it looked pretty clean and generally pleasing to the eye. Both conventional and modern at the same time, quite unlike some of Honda's past attempts at "modern."
Too small for my combination of personal bulk and rural location but otherwise looks good.
the more I see it... I like the utility of its appearance. I like the (mostly) flat seat too. A 125/150 version would make it a very interesting scoot in the US.
