After pulling most of the plastics off my Helix last week, I was wishing it was a naked bike. So many screws, so many little tabs, so many little clip thingies to hold the screws in.

Not even close to it.Loren wrote:Does it have 200 horses at 12,000 rpm?

Looks like the "love child" of a Ruckus and a Helix!

It was featured in Akira, but it was owned/operated by Kaneda.
Battlescooter used to sell that body kit for the Helix. I think it was almost $7K for the kit, though.

At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

To get back to the OP for a minute, does anybody know the story behind this beautiful custom? That wasn't made by any old shade-tree mechanic with a hacksaw. The design is amazing. I don't see a bad line or angle in the design. Plus, the workmanship is killer. It looks flawless and seamless. Seriously, Honda should hire that guy to build prototypes for them. Better yet, Honda should put that bike into production themselves. I bet they could sell out an entire production run in Japan, just for starters.
