Tax Credit?
So I'm filling out my tax return and it says there may be a credit for fuel efficient vehicles purchased in the last year. It mentions hybrids but apparently scooters that use less gas don't qualify? Just ranting I guess...

No CA rebates or tax credit for a gas-powered scooter. The incentive is for (hopefully) replacing vehicles with something more fuel efficient.
At this point, all rebates and federal tax incentives are for plug-in vehicles only, so either full electrics or plug-in hybrids.

The Zero Electric motorcycles and Vectrix electric scooters qualify for a rebate.

My car was already at the lowest-mileage rate when I started scooting ... instead of biking.soakland wrote:If you ride your scooter as a primary form of transportation some insurance companies can give you a low mileage discount on your car insurance. Farmers did that for my wife when she rode her scooter to work everyday.
