The is the first time in 6 years I wasnt riding in March - this spring (& the winter) sucked but I got it out today & took a quick spin for some fresh gas.
Chilly out but felt good to ride. (& gas is up to $3.99 here - WTF?)
I unwrapped my Buddy 125 today and put the battery back in. I got her started and ran it for awhile. My granddaughter is out of school for spring break and I am watching her so I couldn't take it for a ride. This is probably the latest I had to wait to get it out because our weather has been bad too.
Well... this winter we had 26 days below 0 - most ever for us (since they started keeping records in the 1800's)
+ over 80" of snow (3 highest total on record for us)
So... pretty crappy winter for us.
+ we have only had a few days over 60 so far.
I know some people had it worse this winter but this one really made me think about moving
prior to last week I only had 1 actual ride day recently...prior to that I started & idled the scoot 2 times during the winter to get fresh gas into the carburetor & distribute the oil;
did anyone get the license plate number of the bus that just hit me?!?

I had to go to Chicago to ride in 35° weather this year!
yeah... that was a crappy weekend that you were here (about our 20th in a row) & that was the middle of March.
A couple days after you were here we had a HIGH temp of 23.... so it could have been worse for your ride.... but I assume it was chilly for a California guy like you (It was cold for all of us here in Chicago)
