LML Owners Great Britain forum down?

Post by slotrod65 »

It looks like the UK LML forum is down:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Table './lmlforum/phpbb_forums_track' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed [144]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

Yeh it's been down since yesterday. The webmaster who is a volunteer with a day job is on the case so hopefully we will be back up and running soon.

Should be sorted by the weekend. The main admin is working away and he is the only one with the webmasters contact details.

It's an lml forum it's bound to have issues every now and then.

Either that, or it's a water-cooled server. Everyone knows that the British have never mastered the art of electrical distribution ... or fluid containment ("Some weepage is to be expected.") :D

Next time you register let me know what name you are using and I will get your acount activated straight away. We get hundreds of spammers trying to register every day so sometimes so 'real people' slip through the net.

I too, have tried to register there at least 4 times in the past few years..
Always have been ignored with no reply.
I used the same name as I do here and on the old Stella Speed forums...
Hmmmm. Thanks Tipper if you can get me in too.
It hasn't been from lack of trying.

I posted this on the LML Forum:

I've seen from postings on "Modern Buddy" of folks who want to become members of this forum. They seem to be encountering problems. I hope it's not hard feelings from Yorktown.

We also have a group on Facebook which is slowly killing the forum possibly because it's easier to join !
