On the way to work yesterday, I got the dreaded limp clutch lever, which usually means snapped clutch cable. So, I rode the last mile in 2nd, parked and planned on just doing the replacement at the end of the day before heading home.
But - the cable was fine and I realized this AFTER removing it. On closer inspection, I noticed the clutch arm that the cable yanks on has lost some of its resistance. It can be pushed past the point where it usually stops and needs the lever to disengage.
So, I'm not sure what the problem is yet as I'm not to familiar with the anatomy of a scooter clutch - but will most likely be taking a crash course this weekend.
Any guesses as to what's going on?
Thanks!!!

Yes... I know. ..same thing happened to my 2010... its internal...
A 10 piece with a square hole broke. .
warranty will cover it...
Ill try and find the thread I wrote about it 2 years ago. .
But cant now...
Search for a thread called..
"Something snapped in my clutch'...
Something like that..even has the part number.
Good luck

Well, I just finished opening up the clutch and sure enough it was the little lever that pushes in the brass plunger - broken in half. I am relieved that's all it is, actually .... though it's a drag draining the oil having just changed it last week.
Hopefully ScooterWest here in SD has a replacement.
Yep - Part #17 according to this diagram, which I think is for the 2T: http://www.scooterloungeonline.com/stellaclutch
Good fun. I should have gone to bed a couple hours ago, but this is very important stuff!
