725 miles. 3 days. Roughhouse.
Just got back from a glorious 725 mile ride. Not so much as a hiccup from the roughhouse. Love this little beast.

I REALLY enjoyed your photos and story and would love to know a few things:
How was the Roughhouse for long range riding "seat comfort"?
What was the route you guys took? Any chance you could pm me or post that information? General roads, etc.
Loved the chicken motif too!
P.S. I've linked your blog on mine...really like it! Great post!
And I agree that slow rides at 41mph on 49cc are the MOST FUN!

The Roughhouse itself is pretty comfortable (fairly flat seat, floorboards have multiple spots to put your feet, handlebars are in a good position, suspension is adjustable), but my seat has extra padding (thanks Cheeky Seats! https://scooterseatcovers.net ) so your results may vary.
Most of the routing was spur of the moment and didn't get written down, but Ive asked the other riders if they can help reconstruct some of it (in retrospect some of it would have been done differently, but part of the fun was just rolling with it.) I'll see what we can put together.

Ok, routing. As close as I can figure out. Lots of detours and side tracked meandering isn't included. I don't think I looked at a sign for hours at a time.
74-372-gap road. Meet rider 3, head south- 41- ?backroads?- noble road- 472- 213-286- illegal hop over median strip on 301- ?flat boring backroads- ocean city md.
Next day- north up the coast to 1 (not recommended- 55mph-sucked)-9 (up the coast- beautiful and scary after dark because road floods when ride comes in) -13- Chester pa.
Day 3- followed rider 3 on hours long ride through pa and Delaware (can't begin to even guess- I can put you in contact with him if you want) - hockessin Pa- 41-322-117-230-11/15-994-850-74.

Best bang for the buck - 896 south of Lancaster PA. Route 9 beginning at Dover ending in New Castle DE. The rest were either high traffic or flat boring roads straight-aways. West coast of Delaware is much less traffic. all farm lands after crossing the canal bridge. Just go south south south then east east east.

This is so awesome!!! You put the same number of miles in three days that took me a year to achieve. After seeing this for the first time I ventured out further than I ever have and did a 35 mile ride in one afternoon. I normally just go back and forth to work and it's only two miles one way so the 35 miles at one time was a big deal for me. My question is what kind of roads are you going on (speed limit and traffic type)?

Everything from alleys to 55mph. I don't recommend the 55 mph stuff for very long though. Not much fun.
Traffic- nothing to bumper to bumper rush hour.
Keep in mind, this wasn't a mileage run. We were just having fun. I don't see any reason I couldn't get 5-600 miles a day if that was my goal (I think 650 would probably be my limit).
