New rider here...
I expect my scooter in a few days. But I just got my jacket...I love it, but would like to somehow make it more visible, without having to wear a saftey vest...ideas? Does that reflective tape stuff work on cordura fabric/leather?
What about visibility...specifically jacket visibility

Depending on what kind of reflective tape you get, yes. The good stuff will stick to just about anything. There's also sew-on reflective tape if you or someone you know has those kind of skills.
You can also apply reflective materials to your scoot and helmet.
It cracks me up every time I see someone riding with a reflective vest over a windbreaker or shirt. It's like saying, "I'm trying to avoid getting hit because if I do, I'm screwed because I'm not wearing any other gear!"

Seriously. Yesterday I passed a guy on a harley wearing shorts, a t-shirt, a very minimal helmet and a reflective vest. Maybe its so they can find his torso after the accident...ericalm wrote: It cracks me up every time I see someone riding with a reflective vest over a windbreaker or shirt.
