Torque wrench size
Which size of torque wrench is best to buy for working on a 125 Buddy? The 3/8 or 1/2 inch? Plan to change tires (remove wheels) and maybe cvt belt in the future. I don't use a torque for oil changes.

A 3/8 will be more than enough. Nothing on a buddy requires a 1/2. I have the Kobalt wrench found here. This is a very nice wrench at a very affordable price.

Although I buy some stuff at Harbor Freight, I'd stay away from the Cheap ones. Torque is something that is pretty important and a quality tool will last for years.

I have both the 3/8 and 1/2" wrenches from Harbor Freight. Been using the smaller one for over 5 years. They are great wrenches. I don't think I would trust it to torque head bolts, but just about everything else they are fine. They go on sale for $10 all the time. Most times you can use the 20% off coupon as well.

A point too many don't understand. A torque wrench is a measurement tool, not a breaker bar.k1dude wrote:You should never use a torque wrench for removing things. Only installation.
