Honda X-ADV 750cc Adventure Scooter video review.
I just came across this. Dammt! Why don't we get the cool stuff here in the US? I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

I was well aware of it obviously. This was an actual on-road review. Even better, a video review!babblefish wrote:?

The reason there's no pegs is they said it gives you the flexibility to move your feet and weight forward or backward to effect handling. Evidently that's a huge improvement over traditional bikes with pegs.Point37 wrote:needs real pegs...other than that it looks like a blast to ride!
It also allows riders of different statures to easily find a comfortable stance and sitting position.

would probably be fine for seated riding on light fire roads which looks like that's about the terrain limit of this but i wouldn't want to stand on wet floorboards...and those tires seem like they are geared for dirt/mud riding...either way i'd be interested in taking a test ride to check it out if it ever makes it to the USk1dude wrote:The reason there's no pegs is they said it gives you the flexibility to move your feet and weight forward or backward to effect handling. I don't think Honda intends for people to actually take one of these off road or if they do, only groomed fire roads. I think the styling is just for the looks which to my eyes is just fine. Most people who buy "adventure" bikes never take them off road anyway. Regardless, if Honda ever brought these into the US and if they priced them a little lower, I'd buy one.
Some people can break a crowbar in a sandbox.
