Hey all,
just wondering if I can use Synthetic SAE 75w-90 Gear Oil for my blur 220i , just hitting 6000 miles and finished second oil change , curious if 75-90 is okay as I have some Lucas product on hand. Any thoughts ?

I'd stick to the book and run 75-140. With your left-over Lucas 75-90 you're basically running straight 90wt which may not handle the pressures of the gearbox. It's cheap insurance against wear & tear, and it gets damn hot back there (hey, that rhymes).
