Original stock exhaust pipes are pretty expensive, how about an aftermarket?

You can't trust any listing that says (Fits: Buddy 50) in the title. It seems like a bunch of sellers are saying that the items they are selling will fit every model of scooter even if they don't(or they might fits with hours of custom fabrication.) I really wish Ebay would try to cut down on this.tenders wrote:I’m perplexed as to how some of those non-OEM items are actually “Buddy 50 compatible.

It looks like those cheapie mufflers are cut-n-clamp (or cut-n-tack weld). Probably not hours of work with a hacksaw, but probably not a very good outcome, either, requiring a lot of retuning afterwards - possibly indefinitely.
I would much sooner buy a used OEM one. What’s wrong with your original?
