Lost keys? Replace just the cylinder

I lost my only keys to my 2019 Buddy 150. Obviously I can access the ignition. My local dealer told me that I cannot get a new key made even with ownership documentation. Can anyone else make one esp if I can get the cylinder code?

1) Without the key, can I extract the lock cylinder and replace it with a new lock cylinder?

2) I looked and looked and could not find an ignition switch below $99? Any other options? I did see a post where someone used a $25 amazon lock but seemed require a lot of hacks.

While it's out, bring it in to an oldschool locksmith. See if he will cut you a key by feel.
