Hi all,
Does anyone here have a picture of how the throttle assembly and cable go together on a Buddy 50? I removed the right hand back switch plate to replace it and didn't note how the throttle cable was routed before disassembly. I understand the basic concept of how the throttle woks but and pictures for reference would be great as I can't seem to get it back together properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone happen to have a picture of the cable routed onto the throttle body? I must be missing something super obvious as I always have difficulty getting the two switch body's/the throttle back together

Here are two pics, Top picture is looking through the spark plug panel past the oil tank from front to back. That's the cable running on the right side of the oil tank. 2nd picture is looking straight down where the seat bucket goes.

DeeDee,
Thanks so much for that. For the connection at the handlebar, is the small "L" shaped metal bracket the cable routes through supposed to sit flush at the base where the two switch halves meet? I can't seem to get both halves to be flush on the handlebar.

Next time you do something like this, it might be a good idea to snap some photos before you start pulling things apart.
