Mine is a little slow to start when its warm out, but fine when it is chilly in the morning. I've also found it doesn't like to start when I'm low on gas.
I live in Colorado too and have never had a problem starting. Then again after getting my first scooter stolen my buddy comes in everynight. So she is nice and warm and dry.

Your Buddy was stolen? Do you have a story on this board? I can't check your previous forum contributions, should I do a search for a topic in this board?
It wasn't a buddy. It was a honda elite 80. Stealing a scooter is as easy as picking it up and putting in the back of a truck. It happened in the middle of the night. Needless to say I keep a lock under the seat and use it if I am walking away from it for a while. At night she sleeps inside.

Uh, scratch that-- it wouldn't start today after work. My husband kickstarted it a couple times and it was ok. Sportique said to bring it in if it happens again.
