looking for a new chassis

Post by pesqueeb »

Some of you may remember that last February I had a very bad accident on my buddy 125. Well, I'm tired of looking at its dead carcass in my garage and want to replace it. but since its still turns over and runs like a champ I don't want to just huck the whole thing. So what I'm looking for is to replace the chassis of my 06 buddy 125. The engine and tranny survived but the front end did not. If anyone has a buddy with a DOA engine i would be interested in buying it from you. PM me with what you would like for your chassis.

Cheers!

Take off the tin foil hat and let the voices drive for a minute. It'll be fine.

You know, the Buddy engine is a GY6 engine and it's really quite possible they all have similar motormounts, etc. You might be able to pick up a crappy ol' chinese scooter that the engine is blown in and just bolt the Buddy engine in. Wow! A reliable chinese scooter!! Might be the cheap way to do it!
