Introducing my new lady

Post by sargelee71 »

Here is my new lovely. I've had it since 4/29 and love it. Bought her with 117 miles on it, and it's nice to know that Phil McCaleb himself put the miles on. As an '07, she came to me with the topcase and horn upgrade already included. I decided to go with the brown seat and grips. I heard from Ken at Scooterworks that Phil wasn't too happy with my choice of brown over grey. Oh well, can't please everybody. But I LOVE THE BROWN!! Next will be longer mirrors and a windshield.

brown looks so much better than the stock gray. I'd like to swap on my Italia.

Congrats on a great scoot!

The helmet is a loaner. I now have an Z1R Jimmy Retro in orange with face shield. So far, so good. Have ridden to work twice. Will definitely do MSF as soon as I can get in. And, looking at jackets and gloves.

Hey now, Ken82! I prefer grandMA windshield, thank you very much!! It helps with scooting to the store to pick up my apple sauce and prunes. Also helps to keep my hairnet in place.

Awesome, Eric! Yes, windshields are cool....mirrors, on the other hand, not so much. :D But longer stems are a must.

Yep, that's Phil's. It was never titled, so I got the full warranty and year's roadside. He also upgraded the horn to a Nautilus, so I have no trouble being heard.

Thanks for posting all the great pics, BTW.

Go with the windshield! I personally hate to ride without one. It's so nice to NOT be beaten to death by a high wind an pounded by bugs when I'm scooting like a rocket down the highway!

N, that's an alternator on the front wheel. Necessity is the mother of invention, or maybe in this case, modification.

I like the Mack Truck bulldog, the hand and the fishing reel, but my fav has to be the ham can for the air cleaner cover.
