Maybe getting a 125 this weekend!
Well I have been lurking for a couple of weeks now and I thought I was stuck on a lambretta uno150 but after sitting on both that and the buddy they have about the same room for my giraffe legs.
The dealer here in Phoenix has been selling them like hot cakes so I will be stuck with a less than desirable color, but I can paint it without a problem.
I have to give Modern Buddy the credit for this purchase because I tend to only buy a product that has a good internet forum following to solve problems the cheap way. ( bustin a couple knuckles to wrench on it dosen't bother me)
Thanks
Chuck
Ps: this will be for my 26 mile round trip commute. Should be fun!!

You made the right decision Chuck. I bought mine (Buddy 125) last weekend and the shop is dropping it off to me today. Those new Lambrettas are actually fakes! They're just cheap Chinese bikes badged with "Lambrettausa". The guy at POC scooters in Cleveland told me all about them. Total cr@p I guess. He showed multiple models that were the exact same bike all with different names. Enjoy the scoot.

There is a Buddy dealer in Prescott. He has 2 125cc 07's left. I do not think that you want the pink, but never assume as they say. He does however have a cream and black. Got my sunset Buddy yesterday with tags, etc for around $2,600. out the door.

What color did you get? I used to live in Phoenix, love it out there and loved riding out there. Enjoyed riding at night. Did they ever enforce the helmet law? I had a small Honda Spree I used for transportation (top speed was 35-38mph.).
I am looking at getting a Buddy 125 myself, the idea that you can get a cream color 2007 for $1600-would be nice if they could ship it to Louisiana, I'd grab it...
I'm new to this forum, seems there are so many satisfied Buddy owners on the forums. I was looking at the Vino 125 but the Buddy has a larger gas tank, more helmet storage space, the glove box storage area, and the seat toward the front is larger, good for longer rides. I'm hoping to get one probably in August, perhaps sooner if a good deal comes up.
Enjoy your scoot, Chuck...I'm sure you will enjoy riding out there & you'll save on gas.

Re: 2600!
Pink , or Cream/white with black accents. Both 125cc. You pay less in taxes up there and he wanted them gone so approx $2,600.00( I then bought extra accessories to bring it to about 2,700.00 ) They are Encore Performance (928)-778-7910. I live in north Phoenix so it took me longer in driving time to get to Tempe than Prescott. I rented a U-Haul motorcycle trailer for less than $17.00 to pick it up. Real nice guys up there and fantastic motorcycles. Good Luck and they will take a deposit on the phone to hold it.ChuckAZ wrote:They are selling them for 2800 out the door at the dealer in Tempe. Maybe it would be worth the drive to buy it up there??? What colors do they have do you know?
