New ride, or another reason why 2 wheeling is a disease...

Post by gt1000 »

Most riders will tell you that one bike leads to another and each bike needs its own particular modifications to make it "your bike".

So, I was minding my own business and innocently scrolling through the classified section of Ducati MS looking for some lighter, tubeless wheels for my GT. Instead of wheels, I found someone local who was interested in selling or trading a bike I've been lusting after since it was introduced last summer. Oh, and one of the bikes she listed as a potential trade was the GT-1000. We met, rode each other's bikes and thought it over for a day before hammering out the details.

I was perfectly happy with my GT but the "disease" is stronger than I am. Result? New bike for my bike and a bit of cash, but less than half what I'd spend if buying new.

I love the motards too... and that one is street legal and was allowed to keep it's balls! DR-Z400... why must you underpowered? Aprillia, you never followed through with the SMZ in street legal form  ah GT1000, I'm so jealous!

Man, that looks awesome. And for what I heard, you don't have to carry a full chest of tools when riding Ducatis nowadays.
Beer is the answer . . . what was the question?
