help with gear
Can anyone recommend online sites where I can find good quality but not outrageously priced gear.... specifically a riding jacket and gloves.

Good gear prices
Cycle Gear has the best prices!
If you don't mind slower shipping, their prices can't be beat. I got my Nolan Flashback helmet for $60 - it lists for $185.
It took about 2 weeks to get, but at least the shipping was free.
Good luck!

www.newenough.com is another great place to shop. I frequent their close outs from time to time!
P.S.--welcome to the board, whipkitty!

I've seen you post this list before, Eric- it would be helpful in the "How much protective gear do I need? Why?" thread that you made.ericalm wrote:Here are some in addition to those above...

Yup, I was thinking the same thing as I posted it. I'll do that when I get a chance.jmazza wrote:I've seen you post this list before, Eric- it would be helpful in the "How much protective gear do I need? Why?" thread that you made.ericalm wrote:Here are some in addition to those above...

Umm, motorcycle-superstore will price match anybody else and offers free shipping for any order over $75. Their customer service is top notch to boot.
I just ordered a new helmet and they price matched a website I found that was offering a special sale price, which was below their normal price. Motorcycle-superstore matched their price and saved my $75.
