"Free" $600!!! What are you gonna do?

Post by MikieTaps »

So today I just made arrangements for my Prima pipe, some Dr. Pulley Sliders, and a little rejetting on the carb. I was just wondering if anyone else is gonna use their stimulus check on their Buddy, buying a new Buddy, or other Buddy related items. :D

p.s. I know it isnt free money, it is money I already gave uncle sam... but it FEELS like its free!

Oh and, I really really really dont want to start a economic political debate out of this, I dont care what you think about who, and where people can put things... i just wanna know what are you gonna do with your dough?

I only got $300 :( but I'm using it to help pay off my buddy. Might have to use it on a prima pipe or chrome rack instead though.

I received mine in early May... already long gone spent on other bills. I think another stimulus check specifically for scooter gear is in order!! Guess I'll have to call up the Pres and work out the details!

Got mine a couple weeks before I committed on lovely Velveeta.

Now the money's gone, but my Buddy is so much more valuable to me than just a piece of paper with some writing on it.

I voted for riding gear. I'm wanting a cool looking/mod mesh jacket. I have a Corazzo, but it's not vented enough for Texas heat.

Not so easy to find. Not too sure they exist. Too bad there's no Corazzo Speedway mesh for women this year. If you find one, let us know!

I've got no plans for the check. But then, I've been waiting 14 weeks for my tax return and they still haven't processed that.

they can't release my check until my return gets to me. And I can't get a taxpayer's advocate involved until next month.

But at least they are paying me interest on the return since they admit they are the reason I haven't received it yet.

Got mine in May, too.

Took 2 weeks off to help at home when the twins came home. Bought the Buddy a week later.
Tough to say where the $1200 went, exactly - it either helped cover a missing paycheck or it went towards the Buddy, depending on how you look at it. :D

WOW !
with twins . . . when do you find the time to ride your Buddy ?
My neighbours had twins and for the firts year it was the old "it Takes a Village" promise. We all chipped in to help . . . that was a lot of work !

Congrats on the babies and Buddy !
Beer is the answer . . . what was the question?

Actually, I spent out tax refund on the new buddy, but I did so because I new the stimulus check was coming along behind it. Unfortunately, my dog broke his leg and wound up taking the stimulus check just after it got here.

just got the letter from the IRS yesterday saying I should receive my stimulus check sometime this week (for the full amount)! I also put in a loan application to take care of the initial cost instead of waiting till their all gone, yesterday.

Fingers crossed MB, fingers crossed. Hopefully I'll be out doing my patriotic duty in just a short time.

Like Eric, I was planning to put my check into savings but then I bought my Buddy. So my check was moved from savings to checking and then to American Express to pay off the scooter (well part of it). HOORAY! Take THAT government! I spent every single dime.

Between my wife and I with two kids, we'll get $1800

But I spent it in advance because I'm a Patriot :D

I'll use the check to replace some of the funds used for the Blur.

Thanks! And yeah - I don't get out as much as I'd like. To work. To home.
Make lots of offers to run out and pick stuff up at the store. lol.
Somehow I've racked up 350 miles already, so it's working out. :-)
