I've tried on several helmets. Decided on the white one, will go with yellow decals.
Bought an armored mesh jacket in bright yellow (nodding to the HOT TX summers)
Researched Krylon Fusion yellow: properties, prices, quantities needed for eventual paint job.
Meticulously examined Buddy painting project photos posted in Scooter Gallery.
Google Map'd routes without highways for any and all possible destinations my bunnyself might desire to ride.
Registered for MSF (July 4th weekend)
Determined playlist for inaugural ride (something smooth and easy rhythms - too much groove would be distracting)
Determined changing clothes/shoes at office would be better option for riding - luckily have also determined ensembles are wrinkle resistant.
Checked cell phone multiple times a day to see if dealer has called to tell me she's here.
Re-checked cell phone for the bajillionth time.
Turned phone on and off in desperate hope that phone just isn't working correctly.
Madly reading any and all information about scooting and safety.
Sitting here glumly, twiddling my thumbs in quiet desperation.
While I'm waiting...

Re: While I'm waiting...
Well, you'll be hitting the road more prepared than most!
I can only imagine having to endure the wait, but it does provide an opportunity to soak up some knowledge and so on. One of the reasons I push that so much here is that when I started scootering—well, let's just say it's a wonder I didn't crash my first week out. I was woefully unprepared, one of those "It's so easy, I can just hop on and go" people.
I like your little countdown thing in your sig!
