Indeed the SX Appeal top case fits the Buddy

Post by Alix B »

Hey Jazzy,
1. Thanks for bein' such a good sport and scooter model for the seat cover raffle. Daphne thought you'd like that;)

2. The SX Appeal top case does fit the Buddy. The only reason it's not on MY Buddy is that, even though it's roomy and has a nice back rest it wouldn't hold THREE MONTHS worth of stuff AND my bookbag.

You have two choices: It can go vertical if you have back rack OR horizontal if not. I tried it and I was comfortable with the amount of space it gave me.

Keep in mind, I also have a top case and still had room for the SX top case.

It's sweet, guys. I was sad I couldn't make it work for this trip. Lots of straps-very versatile.

You know everybody wants SX Appeal on their scooter. Get yours at www.peacescooter.com

Kaos

Hey, what's the story with your avatar?
Sweet, you bought a ticket while I'm in your town. It's great here.

MikieTaps
Well, if you are actually in Seattle then you can make an official payment on Friday when i arrive. Which is better, then paypal doesn't siphon their .05cents
:D

Otherwise it's paypal.

Hey Alix! I forgot that you were coming in to Portland this week! How long are you in town?

I actually cropped my avatar from some junkmail flyer for knockoff scooter parts that I got a while back. I don't actually remember which company it was for, but they were selling absolute junk. The only saving grace was my avatar ;)

Hi, Alix! I'm the winner of the seatcover, and couldn't be more pleased! I'm emailing back-and-forth with Crystal to determine what fabric will be perfect for Bubbles.

Thanks for giving us all a chance to have a tiny part in your mission, and stay safe.

MikieTaps:
It's looking like a Thursday arrival, early evening. Plans are to stay until Monday. Perhaps we can coordinate meeting up on the way into town. I'm considering the STP route.
I will PM you my phone number.
The WestEnders are having a BBQ, ride, and possibly jousting party. :) On Sat. I think.

Other matters include a new front fork and rear shock. THis is of utmost importance.

Kaos-I'm here until Thursday. Tomorrow I'm zooming around town doing everything I've put off today. Which includes a tour of most scooter shops and Corazzo. And a visit to The Fresh Pot.

OkBubbles!
I'm so glad you won! Way to sass her up! I love Tulsa Scooters, give 'em all a hug for me!

Geez, my mission wouldn't be the same without y'all. It's the biggest Peace sign ever created and the best because of everyone who participates.

Man Alix, still running on East Coast time there? That post was early ;)

I might see if I can sneak up on you and say hi in your tour of the scooter shops or the Fresh Pot. I scoot past several of them on my commute home around 4:00ish...
If I don't, good luck on your trip to Seattle, and keep up the good work!
