Panel Removal Order?

Post by stonehouse »

I am thinking of painting the lighter panels of my 08 Italia 150. Can someone tell me the order in which the panels need to be removed? I have heard that there is a certain way which they all interlock. Also, do I need to take the front wheel off to remove the bottom front panel?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks,
Brad.

Yes, the front wheel needs to be removed to take off the lower front panel.

But is there an 'order' to the removal? I'm wanting to paint and wondering the same thing. i.e., front panel, side panel, floorboard panels, etc...

and to add to the original question: where can I find replacement floormat/plastic protector thing?

Thanks!
Yes, it's fast. No, you can't ride it.

I'm not sure of the order for these particular panels. If you're removing many, I suggest removing the front legshield panel first, then taking out the pet carrier. Once you can see inside, you get a view of many of the little clips and how they all fit together.

For a replacement floorboard, contact your dealer. You can also call Scooterworks. It won't be on their website, but they can get it.
