connecticut scoots

Post by betsy q. bramble »

hello all - new to the forum. i'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the next batch of buddies to scooter centrale/vespa hartford in plainville, ct so i can claim one as my very own. i just started working there as well.

last night i was at real art ways in hartford and i saw a small scooter brigade pull up. any chance that members of the brigade are members here?

any other connecticut (specifically hartford area) scooters on the forum?

Hello Betsy,

Its been a while now but I've been in the Hartford store and have nothing but good things to say about them.

Thats where I did a quicky test ride on a Stella, and a bit longer ride on the X9 down I95 an exit or two with the owner on the back one way, and me on the other way.

ah yes, the crew at the store all seem wonderful so far! although it's rough working surrounded by scooters when you don't have one yet. :?

Tell me about it. I guess you haven't seen the pics of my current ride - well, you asked for it.

My plans to upgrade: Saddle; Pedals w straps; panniers; I might start riding in the dark more so a updated lighting system is likely.

While riding I enjoy listening to: the relative wind from a sharp decent and the strength to make it over the next one.

Things I hate about riding: the list grows one day and shrinks on others

Sorry if you find this to be off topic, but the big kids won't let me play in the other rooms.

Minus the buddy, plus a burgman? I poped in to say hi and took the pic for the scavenger hunt, but had never done anything with them before. If that was them then it was mass con fusion.

You shold check out scooterdiva.com too. A few of the girls there are from CT, and somewhere on that site is a list of clubs.

I just stoped by when I was hunting for my scavenger hunt picture, but I did pop in and say hi. I might stop in next month for their meeting.

Rumor has it, we will get more Buddies in stock by the end of this month...dear lord PLEASE...i can't wait any longer. Everyone who comes in to pick up a Buddy that they have deposited down for, I find myself sizing up...can I take them? Can I wrestle a Buddy from their clutches?
