You all were so wonderful with all the opinions on what is better a 125 or 150. Well I was convinced that the 125 was the way to go. The dealer, that I got my pink Buddy and all the other scoots in the family, told me that they had some 125's and an Italia coming in this week. I was prepared to just bite the bullet and get a 125. Well here it is Thursday and the dealer (I won't name names...) still doesn't have them! The "new" guy there has no clue when or if they coming in at all. GREAT!! (they are out of scooter except for 1 Lambretta and 1 Bajaj.....also a couple of Royal Enfields and 3 or 4 Tomos mopeds - It looks like they are going out of business!!!!)
So I decided to call another dealer a little further away. To MY COMPLETE SURPRISE they had a St. Tropez sitting there right now!!! Along with a red 125 and an Italia. I made him go check twice to be sure that it was there and not some other scoot!!! IT WAS AVAILABLE!!! So I did the ONLY LOGICAL thing I could do. I BOUGHT IT!!! (well put the deposit that was required to show that I seriously wanted it...I was at work and couldn't leave) It now has a "SOLD" sign attached to her and I should be able to pick her up on Saturday. IT IS MINE!!! (going for my permit Saturday morning....WISH ME LUCK because I am horrible at tests!!!)
Even though you all convinced me that a 125 was the way to go..... I looked at myself and saw me easily going from pink to baby blue. It can still be a chic chick bike....and go up hills....LOL
Now to find a name.......
Just my LUCK.....

Stay calm, no one is going out of business, you just gotta realize scooters are selling before they are even touching showroom floors. I wouldnt blame the new guy, it isnt his fault the shipment may be late, He's trying the best he can to help you, but theres nothing you can do if the shipment itself is late.
You'll have your scooter soon, dont worry. Also, a lot of scooter dealers read this forum, even my dealer does
Better watch what you say
