I need visuals on turn signal mods!

Post by apierce »

Does somebody have visuals on the turn signal mods? I need pics cuz they didn't download on my screen. I want to have the DOT and OEM lights flashing together. Is there some kind of connector like a 3 way that I could use? I would like to be able to put it back to its original state if need be.

This is the thread I used.

It's the best thread on this topic in my opinion and should be added to the Tech Library.

I cut and wrapped with electrical tape. In other words, things work ok without the fancy connectors (I just wanted it done and didn't have anything on hand save for electrical tape).

I found the right side signal required some extra bridging wire as it was further away from where it needed to be connected and didn't reach. I just grabbed a random piece I had laying around (but then again, I have a lot of car crap laying around).

If you dont want to spend money, just pry the plastic connectors off the OEM wires and shove them into the DOT wires and electric tape them up. That's what I did, and they still work fine.
