Do you own a Buddy?

Post by vitaminC »

Just curious how many folks on this board already own a Buddy, and how many are hanging out while they mull over their options. For now, I fall in the latter category...

EDIT:

I do have a Buddy now...

I bought a Vino 125 before the Buddy was available.

I test rode the Buddy a month ago and loved the pick up on it..and would consider buying a cream color Buddy if I could afford another scooter...

But that leaves 288 other members to vote!! Also, it is a lot easier to vote than it is to demonstrate your skill with the English language by posting a note.

Keep up your voting action! It is great to see the information.

But there are an awful lot of us to which none of the three choices apply.

4. Own another model of scooter
5. don't own a scooter

Wow, I totally forgot about this poll! Yup, it's not possible to change a vote after the fact- oh well.

My Buddy (and the Chetak and MINI) is probably feeling a bit abandoned after sitting alone in the garage for two weeks. Hopefully I will get back on the road soon- once I am confident I won't be sneezing into my helmet  :bleh:

Is there any way to close a poll? I suspect my color poll may become obsolete with the 2007 model year.

I hear Genuine may be working on a limited edition Buddy!!!!

We should all write Brett Ratner at Genuine with our ideas for limited editions and new colors...

I imagine that a moderator could lock it or otherwise close it, but it doesn't seem that the original poster can do it.

Yep, a Moderator or Admin can lock the topic, but we usually reserve this power for threads which are unlikely to ever garner new posts. Because people made comments as well as voting in the poll, this may not be the case. What to do? New poll if new colors are announced, maybe.

A better option: You can also edit the poll to add new colors if they are announced.

Thanks for the advice Eric. I didn't know I could edit the poll I created. The things you learn as you go along!
