The whole kit came in a nice plastic zip loc that has found a home in my Genuine top case which is far from waterproof.

Installation is easy. First remove the bag hook that is on Buddy now. Take the curved top piece and slide it over the top of the glove box bending the center piece up. This is the attachment point and new shopping bag hook. The hook also holds up the bin lid so you can use both hands tofish out your registration for Officer O'Malley. You can go ahead and put the screw back in the new hook but don't tighten it down yet.

See the two screws at the front of the curved piece? These go through the sliding tabs underneath that slide under the lip and hold the top in tightly. Just be sure not to loosen these screws too much or the tabs will come out of their track and spin around so the short end is toward the edge. Then it won't catch under the lip and hold it. I did that. Drove me nuts for about 10 minutes until I figured what I had done. Just turn it over and look at it. Easy. Slide the screws toward you and tighten them.

Now just put the drink holder in the left and the holder with the strap on the right. There is a slot that it fits into. If you don't want to leave it there just throw it in the top case or pet carrier. You never know when those spontaneous parties will break out in the parking lot and you need another drink holder.

The bin is large enough to hold a phone, glasses, tic tacs, old traffic tickets and any number of small items you might want to keep in it. It has a drain hole in the bottom and the inside of the lid is embossed with the Genuine Scooter Company emergency road service 800 number as well as a space to record the membership number. No digging through purse, wallet or pockets in your time of need. It can be locked but it better be a small lock. I stuck an 'S' hook in it for the pic. Removing the lock you can remove the bin and take it with you. If you don't care to bother with a lock the lid has a snap closure.

That's about it. Handy little item. Oh, don't forget to tighten down the bag hook! See, that's where that rattle was coming from. If you like it, shoot a pm to Perkussion. He's the MBer that came up with this little gem and will pass on whatever else you might want to know, like how to get one.
