If you have a Buddy service manual take a look at the cover.

Post by Sweet-Pete »

I have always wondered why the service manual made so little sense at times. I always figured it was the language barrier. UNTIL, my wife noticed the pattern used to make the green background of the cover looks suspiciously similar to, lets just say I've only seen the stuff in Cheech and Chong movies!

She's a graphic designer and always seems to notice strange stuff like this. Hey it could be Japanese maple leaves, but that wouldn't be nearly as funny.

Awww..I got one of the generic white ones. The green one would be pretty funny to show of to future generations.

As if Cheech & Chong wouldn't smoke those… just to see what happened.

Chong still might. Cheech is too clean these days.

Hehehe, I could buy that, but why!?! Japanese Maple of all things on the cover. Not pistons, carburetors or wrenches even.

But PGO is a Taiwanese company. Not Japanese.

"Acer palmatum, called Japanese Maple or Smooth Japanese Maple (Japanese: irohamomiji, イロハモミジ, or momiji, 紅葉) is a species of woody plant native to Japan, North Korea, South Korea, China, eastern Mongolia, and southeast Russia." (Wikipedia).

Tommy Chong is in great shape with a beautiful wife. Cheech is still doing "stand-ins" in re-runs.
